The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman, has congratulated Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed on his sixth anniversary as the Executive Governor of Bauchi State. In a congratulatory message issued by his media aide, Mukhtar Garba Kobi, the Speaker commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the visible infrastructural transformation across the State.
"Bauchi State has broken free from the shackles of poor governance under Governor Bala's leadership," Speaker Suleiman said. He praised the Governor's unwavering dedication to key sectors such as education, health, agriculture, and labour. According to him, people in Bauchi, especially those in rural communities, no longer suffer neglect.
The Speaker highlighted some of the transformative initiatives implemented by the Governor's administration, including access to clean drinking water, linkable road networks, quality healthcare, uninterrupted electricity, and farming inputs at subsidized rates. "These are the hallmarks of a responsive and people-centered administration," he stated.Speaker Suleiman also acknowledged Governor Mohammed's inclusive leadership style, describing it as one that transcends religious, tribal, and regional boundaries. "He has consistently demonstrated fairness by offering equal opportunities to all qualified individuals, regardless of background, to drive meaningful development," he noted.
The Speaker highlighted the strong collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government, affirming the cordial working relationship that exists between the Bauchi State House of Assembly and the Governor. This partnership, he said, has been instrumental in the successful implementation of people-oriented policies and the overall development of the State.
"On behalf of the Honourable Members, Principal Officers, and staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, I extend heartfelt congratulations and prayers for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance to His Excellency as he continues to transform the lives of the good people of Bauchi State and beyond," the statement concluded.
