"Senator Bala Ibn Na'Allah Condoles Family of Late Col. Dauda Musa Komo"

In a heartfelt press statement, Senator Bala Ibn Na'Allah expressed his deep sorrow and heavy heart upon receiving the news of the passing of retired Colonel Dauda Musa Komo, a distinguished son of Zuru, who died on the evening of Friday, May 30, 2025, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Col. Komo, a former President of the Zuru Emirate Development Society (ZEDS), was in Port Harcourt to honour an invitation to a public event when he passed away. Senator Na'Allah described his death as a profound loss not only to the people of Zuru but to the entire nation of Nigeria.

"On behalf of my family, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Zuru, His Royal Highness Gen. Dr. Sani Sami Gomo II, the immediate family of the late icon, and the entire Zuru Emirate," Senator Na'Allah said. "May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen."

The Senator paid tribute to Col. Komo's outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Zuru, describing him as a patriot of the highest order. "Col. Komo was not only an outstanding military officer but also a patriot of the highest order," he said. "As a former President of the Zuru Emirate Development Society (ZEDS), he played a pivotal role in the growth and development of Zuru."

Senator Na'Allah noted that Col. Komo's indelible contributions will forever be remembered and should serve as a beacon of inspiration for current and future generations. "Col. Dauda Musa Komo was truly a great icon, a man whose life embodied service, integrity, and commitment to the advancement of his people," he said.

In conclusion, Senator Na'Allah bid farewell to Col. Komo, describing him as a hero and a pillar of the community. "We bid farewell to a hero and a pillar of our community," he said. "Adieu, our dear Col. Dauda Musa Komo."
