Bauchi Ali Foundation Distributes 150,000 Exercise Books, Provides Relief to Communities

The Hon. Ibrahim Ali Usman Foundation has distributed 150,000 exercise books to pupils in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, as part of its efforts to boost child education and support the community during challenging times.

Speaking with journalists in Bauchi, the Director-General of the foundation, Hon. Abdulkareem Buba Umar, said the books were handed over to the authorities of the beneficiary schools. Umar recalled his previous announcement that a total of 1,050,000 exercise books would be distributed to pupils across various primary and secondary schools within Bauchi South Senatorial District.

According to Umar, the initiative is part of the foundation's ongoing commitment to enhancing education in Bauchi South. "We aim to promote reading and learning among pupils and urge individuals to give back to society in whatever capacity they can," he said.

The foundation has also constructed numerous boreholes in various communities throughout the district, providing health support to those in need, and assisting underprivileged members of society. Additionally, the foundation provides financial assistance to petty traders and artisans, enabling them to expand their economic activities.

Umar highlighted the foundation's recent Free Medical Outreach in the Magama Gari Community of Toro Local Government Area, where over 100 girls aged 9-14 were vaccinated against the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). The awareness campaign and vaccination program were sponsored by the foundation's founder, Ibrahim Ali Usman.

The foundation has drilled over 100 boreholes in Bauchi South, provided scholarships for youth and women, and continues to create opportunities for socio-economic empowerment across the region.
