The First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, joined global leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders at the launch of the #ShesIncluded initiative in Abuja. The event, hosted by the Office of the Vice President, aimed to advance women's economic and financial inclusion across Nigeria.

In his keynote address, Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima reaffirmed the Tinubu administration's commitment to ensuring equal access to economic opportunities, financial resources, and empowerment programs for Nigerian women. The Minister of Women Affairs and State Governors also delivered goodwill messages, emphasizing the importance of collective action in breaking barriers to women's financial inclusion.

Hajiya Zainab Nasare expressed strong support for the initiative, commending the Office of the Vice President for spearheading the transformative agenda. "It is highly important and desirable to sustain collaboration among government institutions, private organizations, and community leaders to ensure that women, particularly in rural areas, have the tools and opportunities to thrive economically," she stated.

Nasare reaffirmed her dedication to initiatives that uplift women and contribute to national development. "Empowering women is a crucial step towards building a more resilient and prosperous Nigeria," she emphasized. The #ShesIncluded initiative aligns with the commitments outlined in the Aso Accord on Economic and Financial Inclusion, further reinforcing the government's efforts to bridge the gender gap in financial access and entrepreneurship.

The Wife of the Kebbi State Governor advocated for continuity in engagement on the implementation of policies and programs that would create long-lasting economic opportunities for women in society.
