In a remarkable display of compassion and dedication to public service, Representative Amos Gwamna has provided free medical care to 100,000 less privileged individuals in eight Local Government Areas of Southern Kaduna senatorial district . This initiative, part of the Federal Government Constituency Intervention Project, has brought relief to thousands of women and children suffering from chronic health issues due to lack of funds.

The medical outreach program, which included surgeries and distribution of free reading glasses, has been hailed as a much-needed relief by the beneficiaries. Patients suffering from eye issues such as glaucoma and cataracts received surgeries, while complicated surgeries were performed to address complex conditions like fibroids, hernias, and appendicitis. Dr. Livinus Yusuf, leader of the surgical team, reported successful outcomes in all surgeries conducted.

Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude, praising Representative Gwamna for bringing succor to their community, which had been waiting for such an initiative for years . Samuel Audu, a former Councilor, commended Gwamna's efforts, saying he had never seen a project of such magnitude in his community. Dorcas Mohammed, a beneficiary, thanked Gwamna for bringing healthcare services to her community.

Representative Gwamna, Chairman of the House Committee on Health Services, has also sponsored a bill for the establishment of a Federal medical centre in Southern Kaduna. The Gwantu traditional council has appealed for more primary healthcare centres and general hospitals in the Sanga Local Government Area to reduce health challenges.

This remarkable initiative is part of Representative Gwamna's efforts to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged in Southern Kaduna. His commitment to healthcare and public service has brought hope to thousands of lives.
