Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has distributed 1,000 bags of 25kg rice to Bauchi State's Christian community as a Christmas gesture. The donation, flagged off in Bauchi, targets vulnerable groups, including the less privileged and widows.
Bauchi State Coordinator of Christians Northern Political Forum, Mr. Ayuba Dogara, praised the First Lady's "timely and impactful" support. "We are here to flag off the distribution of food items donated by Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu," he said, noting similar support extended to other Northern states.

Dogara urged transparency in distribution, saying, "I urge beneficiaries to receive these items with gratitude and pray for the First Lady and her husband's administration." Beneficiary Mrs. Bege Matandu appreciated the donation, saying it eases economic hardship.
APC Chairman Mr. Istifanus Mmanasi described the gesture as "inclusive governance," renewing hope among Christians and APC members. He thanked President Tinubu and former Speaker Yakubu Dogara for their collaboration, saying it fosters development.

"We appreciate the First Lady's kindness; it shows government's sensitivity to citizens' needs," Mmanasi said, urging APC members to remain united towards 2027.
