The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Kebbi State Directorate, has extended heartfelt congratulations to all Nigerians on the occasion of the nation's 65th Independence Anniversary. In a statement released today, the State Director of NOA, Muhammed Nasir Karofi, urged Nigerians to renew their faith in the country's potential, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and a deep love for Nigeria.
"Let us see the challenges we face as a state or as a country as collective," Karofi said. "They require all of us to contribute in addressing them. We must take pride in our sovereignty and work together to build a prosperous nation." He acknowledged that any nation undergoing reforms will inevitably face hardships but stressed that with endurance, understanding, and collective effort, these challenges will lead to positive change.
The NOA commended the Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, for his people-centric governance and proactive approach to tackling security challenges within the state. The agency praised his administration's commitment to the well-being of its citizens, noting that such leadership is crucial for national development.
The NOA also urged leaders at all levels to listen to the concerns of their citizens, especially as they make difficult but necessary decisions aimed at repositioning the nation for recovery and prosperity. The agency reiterated its commitment to promoting understanding of government policies and programs, serving as a bridge between the government and the people.
"We urge our leaders to be responsive to the needs of their citizens and to prioritize their welfare," the NOA statement added. The agency's commitment to promoting patriotism and unity among Nigerians was reaffirmed, as it called on all citizens to work together towards a brighter future for the country.
