Although Baba Ahmed University Kano emerged as the winner, the outstanding performance of Kebbi State's representatives, Nana Firdausi Abdulwahab and Grace Ishaya, was a major highlight.
"Nana Firdausi Abdulwahab and Grace Ishaya presented well-researched, articulated, and expertly argued points," said the chairman of the panel of judges. "Their performance was truly commendable, and we are confident that they will continue to make a positive impact in their community."
The chairman also lauded the NOA for organizing the engagement, emphasizing that it was a strategic move to involve young, intellectual minds in national discourse and instill national values in them. "This is a great way to encourage young people to think critically about national issues and develop solutions," he said.
Muhammed Nasir Karofi, Director of Kebbi NOA, extended his congratulations to Kebbi State Polytechnic Dakingari for proudly representing and hoisting the flag of Kebbi State at the zonal level. "We are proud of our students' achievement, and we believe that this is just the beginning of their success story," Karofi said.
The event took place on September 24, 2025, and was a testament to the importance of promoting national unity and values among young people. The NOA's efforts to engage young minds in national discourse are commendable, and the agency's leadership has shown a clear understanding of the role that young people can play in shaping the country's future.
