A significant leadership transition has taken place within the Kebbi State Special Advisers Forum, with Alhaji Zaiyanu Shehu Sanka, Special Adviser on Hajj Affairs, being unanimously elected as the new Chairman. This development follows the departure of the previous Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Malam, Shatiman Gwandu, who has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA).
During a meeting held at the Cabinet Office Conference Hall in Birnin Kebbi, the Forum members endorsed Sanka's leadership, while retaining all other executive positions. In his inaugural address, the newly elected Chairman vowed to implement an inclusive approach, prioritize the welfare of members, and rally support for the Kebbi State Governor's policies and initiatives.

"My administration will be guided by transparency, accountability, and a commitment to advancing the interests of all members," Sanka stated. "We will work assiduously to promote the Kaura Gwandu Agenda, focusing on good governance, empowerment, and infrastructure development."
The Forum also engaged in discussions on strategies to boost citizen participation in the electoral process, emphasizing the importance of collecting Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and registering new voters. In a unanimous resolution, the Advisers reaffirmed their allegiance to Governor Idris, commending his efforts in driving infrastructural development and human empowerment, particularly for women and youth.

"Governor Idris has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to the growth and development of Kebbi State," one Adviser noted. "We pledge to collaborate with him to ensure the success of his initiatives and empower the people."
The Advisers further committed to working closely with the government to extend empowerment programs to grassroots communities, ensuring that the benefits of governance are felt across the state.

"We are dedicated to supporting the government's efforts to promote development and prosperity in Kebbi State," they emphasized.
