Kebbi Police Command Presents N46.67m Cheques to Families of Deceased Officers

The Kebbi State Police Command has presented cheques totaling N46,672,992.75 to 23 families of deceased police officers in the state. The Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M Sani, presented the cheques on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.

The cheques were presented under the Group Life Assurance, IGP Family Welfare, and Group Personal Accident Schemes to support the families of the deceased officers who lost their lives in active service.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Administration, DCP Aminu Babale, advised the beneficiaries to utilize the funds optimally to address their immediate problems and support their academic careers. He also prayed for the eternal rest of the deceased officers and for their families to find the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

Muhammad Sani, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the IGP for his magnanimity and prayed for Allah to continue to bless him, his management team, and the Kebbi State Police Command with good health, wealth, wisdom, and strength.

The presentation of the cheques is part of the police command's efforts to ensure personnel welfare and support the families of deceased officers.
