The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced an extension of the deadline for Hajj seat payments via bank draft, following a directive from the National Hajj Commission. The new deadline is now set for the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

"The payment window will remain open for intending pilgrims until the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan," he stated.

As of today, the board has remitted over 22 billion naira to the National Hajj Commission on behalf of pilgrims from Kano State. In his speech, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusuf Lawan, urged staff and Local Government Hajj Center Officers to put in greater effort while discharging their duties.

Alhaji Danbappa commended the Kano State Government for its swift response in addressing the board's needs whenever required. The orientation program also featured speakers such as Sheikh Muhammad Sani Ashir, Malam Nasiru Maccido, and Pharmacist Abdulrashid Habib Ibrahim, along with the Board's Director of Planning.
