In the spirit of the season, Hon. Abubakar Shu'aibu, Executive Chairman of Yauri local government council, paid a visit to the C.A.C. Church Yelwa Yauri Branch on December 24, 2024. Accompanied by his councilors and some APC party members, the purpose of the visit was to present Christmas gifts to the Christian community on behalf of Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, Governor of Kebbi State.
The gifts, which included bags of rice and a substantial amount of money, symbolized the governor's goodwill and appreciation for the community. The Rev. Father of the C.A.C. Church Yelwa Yauri Branch was overjoyed by Hon. Abubakar Shu'aibu's kind gesture, praying for Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu's government to continue thriving without any obstacles.
The community also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the governor for remembering them during their Christmas celebration. This act of kindness demonstrates Hon. Abubakar Shu'aibu's commitment to fostering unity and promoting the well-being of all members of the Yauri community, regardless of their faith or background.
