The wife of the Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mrs. Usra Hendra Harahap, has reaffirmed her country's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Kebbi State. This reaffirmation was made during her visit to the First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, at her office in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.
Mrs. Usra expressed her delight about the warm reception she received from Hajiya Nasare, noting that her husband had paid a similar visit to the Kebbi State Governor. This initiative aims to increase meat and milk production in the state.
Furthermore, Indonesia is partnering with Kebbi to establish an Insemination Centre equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. This collaboration will enhance livestock development, train 50 professionals, and boost agricultural production. According to Mrs. Usra, this initiative will not only improve meat and milk production but also build the capacity of Kebbi's workforce.
In her remarks, Hajiya Nasare commended Mrs. Usra, her husband, and the accompanying team of experts for their three-day visit to Kebbi. She welcomed the collaborative effort between Kebbi and Indonesia on enhancing livestock development and agricultural production. Hajiya Nasare also emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships on matters of Zakkat and Islamic Education for a decent society and economic prosperity.
