Governors of Kebbi, Yobe, Minister Offer Condolences to Ex-EFCC Boss Over Mother's Passing

Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, alongside Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, paid a condolence visit to former EFCC boss, Abdul Rasheed Bawa, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Lami Bawa. The delegation visited Bawa's family in Jega, offering prayers for Allah to forgive Hajiya Lami's shortcomings and grant her Jannutl Firdaus.

Governor Buni encouraged the family to accept Hajiya Lami's demise as destiny, urging them to find strength in their faith. Alhaji Arzika Bawa, Sarkin Kabin Jega, thanked the visitors for their support and prayed for God's abundant rewards.

Hajiya Lami Bawa passed away at 67 years old, leaving behind ten children, including Abdul Rasheed Bawa and his younger brother, Hon. Hayatu Bawa, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development in Kebbi State. Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched.

This condolence visit demonstrates the governors' and minister's commitment to showing respect and empathy towards those in need, reflecting their dedication to serving the people of Nigeria.
