AIG Abdurrahman: A Paragon of Excellence in the Nigeria Police Force

AIG Ahmad Abdurrahman is a shining example of dedication, hard work, and commitment to public service in the Nigeria Police Force. With over 33 years of service, he has established himself as a seasoned and accomplished police officer.
"His exemplary career is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and commitment to public service," says a police source.

Born in Kirfi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Abdurrahman began his educational journey at L E A Primary School Kuru III, Jos, and later attended GSS Shendam, Plateau State. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Administration from the University of Sokoto and has pursued various postgraduate studies.

Abdurrahman's training and certifications include peacekeeping, investigation, corruption studies, and good governance, among others. He has participated in courses locally and internationally, including in Norway, Russia, China, Singapore, and the USA.

Throughout his career, Abdurrahman has served in various capacities, including as a lecturer at COE Ilorin during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) days. He has also worked at the Plateau State Command, where he served as O/C GI SIIB, PPRO Plateau Command, and O/C Command Education Department.

Positions held by Abdurrahman include Commissioner of Police in Kaduna, Ekiti, Bayelsa, and Ogun states, among others. He is currently an Assistant Inspector General of Police.

"AIG Abdurrahman is well-equipped to handle any national assignment," says a colleague. "His competency in security matters, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking makes him an asset to the nation."

Abdurrahman has received numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding service, including the "Leadership Award of Excellence as Achiever Per Excellent; Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardaunan Platinum" by the Northern Youth Council.

Given his dedication and service to the nation, it is fitting that Abdurrahman be recognized with a national honor. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should consider conferring on him a national award, such as the Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) or the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).

"AIG Abdurrahman is a role model for young Nigerians, demonstrating the importance of hard work, dedication, and service to the nation," says a police official.

Abdurrahman's legacy will continue to inspire future generations of Nigerians. His contributions to the nation are immeasurable, and his service to the nation is a testament to his character and dedication.
