The Nasara Woman Development Foundation, established by the First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has initiated a two-day free dental medical outreach at the Kebbi State Teaching Hospital in Kalgo. This initiative aims to empower women and enhance the healthcare and well-being of communities across Kebbi State.
Dr. Nasir Sanusi, leader of the dental medical team, expressed appreciation for the NASARA Foundation's initiative, stating, "The free dental services include sensitization, washing, replacement, extraction, and refilling of the teeth." He further added, "Cases beyond the available services would be attended to with the approval of the Foundation."
Dr. Nasir Sanusi urged the public to seize this opportunity, announcing, "1000 patients are expected to be treated free, and we therefore urge the general public to take advantage of the free medical outreach for their treatment."
The Chief Medical Director of Kebbi State Teaching Hospital, Kalgo, Doctor Abubakar A. Kaoje, thanked the First Lady for selecting the hospital for this outreach, revealing, "This is the first time such a free dental medical outreach is being carried out at the hospital." He commended the First Lady, Hajia Zainab, and her Foundation, appealing to the public, "to take advantage of the free medical outreach before it ends."
Dr. Yahaya Kuka, Chairman of the Kalgo Local Government, expressed gratitude to the First Lady for her various initiatives in the state, thanking her specifically for bringing this outreach to his area, saying, "We assure the present administration of our political support and cooperation."
This free dental medical outreach is part of the NASARA Foundation's ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services in Kebbi State, reflecting the commitment of the First Lady to the well-being of the community. The outreach is scheduled to conclude today.
