"Kebbi Govt Distances Self from PDP Official's Court Case"

The Kebbi State Government has disclaimed any involvement in the ongoing court case between Alhaji Sani Dododo, the spokesperson of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), and Comrade Mohammed Usman Anache, characterizing it as a personal matter between the two individuals.
In a statement issued on Friday, Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, described the case as a private dispute between the two parties. "We wish to categorically state to the good people of Kebbi State that His Excellency, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, is a staunch democrat who upholds the rule of law," Idris said.
The government underscored Governor Nasir Idris's commitment to democracy and the rule of law, emphasizing his unionist approach. "We are not even aware of the case; we only became aware of it through public discourse," Idris stated. "Therefore, the government is distancing itself from this case because it has no involvement in it."
The state government urged the citizens of Kebbi State to remain calm and carry on with their daily activities. "We also wish to appeal to the good people of Kebbi State to remain calm and continue with their normal business," Idris said.
The government expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and cooperation it has received from the people of the state and solicited continued support to enable it to deliver the dividends of democracy to the public. "The state government appreciates the maximum support and cooperation it is enjoying from the good people of the state and solicits more to be able to deliver the needed dividends of democracy to the public," the statement concluded.
