Kebbi State Mourns: Governor Attends Funeral Prayer for District Head, Dr. Muhammad Mustapha-Bunza

Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, attended the funeral prayer for the District Head of Bunza, Dr. Muhammad Mustapha-Bunza, who passed away on Wednesday at the Usman Danfodio Teaching Hospital in Sokoto. The late District Head was buried on Thursday according to Islamic rites.

Governor Idris described Dr. Mustapha-Bunza as a man of integrity and honesty who fought tirelessly for the rights of the masses, ensuring good representation in society. "He was a true leader and a champion of the people," the governor said. "I pray to God Almighty to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus."

The governor also urged the family of the late District Head to accept the will of God in good faith. Dr. Mustapha-Bunza left behind a legacy of two wives, many children, and grandchildren. He was 85 years old at the time of his passing.

The funeral prayer was a testament to the respect and admiration the people of Kebbi State had for the late District Head. Governor Idris's attendance was a demonstration of his commitment to honoring the leaders of the state.
