Sallah: Kebbi State First Lady Hosts Fun-Filled Party for Vulnerable Children

In the spirit of the Sallah celebrations, the First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasara Nasir Idris, hosted a fun-filled event for children and orphans at the Presidential Banquet Hall in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday. The excited children enjoyed a delightful meal, and a cake was cut to mark the celebration.

Hajiya Zainab Nasara Nasir Idris emphasized the importance of taking care of orphans, citing the advantages of showing love and care for them as highlighted in the Holy Scripture. "Taking care of orphans is a fundamental aspect of our faith, and I am committed to ensuring that these vulnerable children receive the care and support they deserve," she said.

The children were overjoyed as they received gifts from the First Lady, bringing smiles to their faces. Hajiya Halima Hassan Kamba, the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, expressed her gratitude to the First Lady for her kindness towards the orphans.

"Since Governor Nasir Idris and his wife assumed office, orphans have received more attention and proper care," Hajia Kamba said. "I reaffirm my commitment to supporting the administration's policies and programs aimed at improving the lives of women, children, and orphans in the state."
