"1200 Vulnerable Women Benefit from Kebbi First Lady's Food Distribution"

The First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has distributed essential food supplies to 1,200 vulnerable women drawn from Gwandu, Aliro, and Jega Local Government Areas of Kebbi State. The distribution ceremony, held at the Gwandu Local Government Secretariat, saw each beneficiary receive a bag of rice and N20,000 cash.

The initiative is part of the Nigerian Governors' Spouses Forum (NGSF) quarterly food bank program under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI). In her remarks, the First Lady reaffirmed her commitment to supporting vulnerable populations in the state. "This initiative is simultaneously ongoing in all 36 states of the federation," she announced.

Hajiya Zainab urged the beneficiaries to utilize the items effectively to improve their livelihoods and assist their families. "I want to express my gratitude to the people for their support of my husband's administration," she said. "I seek continued prayers for a successful tenure."

The Gwandu Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Atiku Ahmed, and Jega Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Shehu Umar, commended the First Lady for her kindness. They highlighted developmental projects achieved in their local governments under Governor Nasir Idris's leadership.

The presentation of bags of rice and N20,000 cash to 1,200 beneficiaries was the highlight of the occasion. The First Lady's gesture has brought relief to many vulnerable women in the state, demonstrating her commitment to improving the lives of Kebbi residents.
