Toro Local Government Chairman, Perm. Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo, has praised Governor Bala Abdulakadir Mohammed for granting full autonomy to all 20 local government areas in Bauchi state. This move has reportedly empowered grassroots governance and accelerated development across the state.

Dembo made these remarks during the flag-off ceremony for the distribution of hospital equipment, essential drugs, school chairs, and learning materials at the Toro Local Government Secretariat. He highlighted how the governor's commitment to decentralization has significantly improved service delivery, allowing local authorities to address critical infrastructure and welfare concerns without unnecessary bureaucratic bottlenecks.
"Governor Bala Mohammed's visionary leadership has enabled local government chairmen to implement impactful policies tailored to the needs of their communities," Dembo said. "With this autonomy, Bauchi State's local governments are witnessing unprecedented growth, reflecting Governor Bala Mohammed's commitment to grassroots empowerment and sustainable development."

The event showcased the distribution of essential supplies to healthcare centers and schools, reaffirming the local government's dedication to enhancing education and healthcare services. Dembo also reaffirmed his loyalty and support to the governor and the People's Democratic Party (PDP), vowing to continue working in alignment with the administration's development agenda.
