The Federal College of Education (Technical) Yauri is poised to mark a significant milestone in its history as it prepares to hold its Groundbreaking/Foundation Laying Ceremony. Scheduled for Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at 2:00 pm, the ceremony will be jointly performed by His Excellency Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) and the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, at the Federal College of Education Yauri Permanent Site.
According to Professor Saadu Umar, Ag. Provost, "this event promises to be a significant milestone in the college's history." The ceremony marks the beginning of a new era for the institution, which is one of the seven new tertiary institutions approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in October 2023.
The Federal College of Education (Technical) Yauri is expected to play a crucial role in improving access to quality tertiary education in the region. The institution's establishment is part of the federal government's efforts to expand the country's educational infrastructure and provide more opportunities for Nigerians to acquire higher education.
The Groundbreaking/Foundation Laying Ceremony is open to all interested parties, and the management of the institution has invited the public to mark their calendars for February 15th and join the celebration.
