The Bauchi State Correspondents' Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Daily Post journalist, Mrs. Hafsat Adebayo. The Chapel described Hafsat as a dedicated journalist, a passionate mother, and a brilliant reporter whose work touched countless lives.
In a condolence message, the Chairman of the Correspondents' Chapel, Mallam Ahmad Mohammed Saka, said, "It is with profound sadness that we received the news of the passing of our esteemed colleague, Mrs. Hafsat Adebayo."
Ahmad praised Hafsat's commitment to excellence in journalism, saying, "Hafsat was not just a colleague but a true professional, always committed to excellence in journalism. Her wisdom, guidance, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed."
The Chairman extended heartfelt condolences to Hafsat's family, friends, and loved ones, praying for strength and comfort for those she left behind. "May Hafsat's legacy continue to inspire and motivate us to uphold professionalism and strive for excellence in our field," he added.
The Correspondents' Chapel joins other journalists in mourning the loss of a remarkable reporter whose impact will never be forgotten.
