A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Tayachibiyacha Ebal, has passed away after collapsing at the Dakin Gari Orientation Camp in Kebbi State. The incident occurred when Ebal suddenly slumped and was immediately rushed to the camp clinic for medical attention. Despite efforts to revive her, she was later transferred to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin-Kebbi for advanced medical care, where she eventually succumbed to her condition.
The state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Alhaji Muhammad Fingila, confirmed the tragic incident, describing it as unfortunate. Fingila also extended condolences to the grieving family on behalf of the Kebbi State government, adding that Ebal's remains had been sent back to her home state, Adamawa. The NYSC office in Kebbi State has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident
