The Kebbi State Police Command, led by Commissioner of Police Bello M Sani, has pledged to investigate and bring perpetrators to justice following an attack on Kebbi Radio. On December 17, 2024, hoodlums invaded the station, stealing equipment worth millions of naira.
The stolen items include 33 KV transformer accessories, armoured cables, batteries, generator cables, plasma TVs, computers, and critical transmission cables. The attack has been widely condemned, with the CP assuring residents that credible leads are being pursued.
The General Manager of Kebbi Radio, Engineer Muhammad Mahe, thanked the CP for his personal visit and urged the public to report any valuable information to aid in apprehending the assailants.
