New Leadership for Kebbi Disability Commission: Abdul-Nasir Argungu Appointed Director

The APC Awareness for People with Disabilities Organization, Kebbi State Chapter, has congratulated Abdul Nasir Sani Argungu on his appointment as acting Director, Social Development and Rehabilitation Commission for Persons with Disability in Kebbi State. This appointment is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and commitment to the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities in the state.

Hon. Hassan Alhassan, Chairman of the APC Awareness for People with Disabilities Organization, Argungu Local Government, expressed confidence that Abdul Nasir's leadership will bring about positive change and improvement in the lives of persons with disabilities in the state. As a champion of disability rights, Abdul Nasir is expected to advocate for inclusive policies, programs, and services that promote equal opportunities and social justice for persons with disabilities.

The appointment comes at a critical time when the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCWD) is working tirelessly to prevent discrimination against persons with disabilities and ensure their inclusiveness in every sector. The NCWD aims to advise the government on policies and programs for the inclusion and welfare of persons with disabilities, promote public awareness on their rights, and ensure that government programs and services are accessible and inclusive.
