A shocking case of deception and attempted murder has come to light in Kebbi State, Garba Muhammed Dangiya, a resident of Badariya area in Birnin Kebbi, has been accused of perpetrating a fraudulent scheme against his best friend, Alhaji Abu alheri a 55- year- old resulting in a loss of N12 million.

According to Abu Alheri, Dangiya and his alleged accomplice, Samuel, engaged in a deceptive practice by showing Alheri a vessel in Port Harcourt, falsely claiming it was auctioned to them by the Rivers State government. This fraudulent misrepresentation led Alheri to pay N12 million for the vessel, only to discover later that the transaction was a ruse.

The situation took a darker turn when Dangiya and Samuel allegedly conspired to commit a heinous crime by paying N2 million to assassins to kill Alheri. Fortunately, Alheri's instincts prompted him to leave the hotel immediately, and he managed to escape unscathed.

Alheri has since appealed to the authorities to bring Dangiya to justice and put an end to his threats. When contacted for his reaction, Dangiya declined to comment, citing that the matter is before the court.

This disturbing case highlights the dangers of deception and the importance of seeking justice. It remains to be seen how the authorities will handle this case, but one thing is certain - Alheri deserves justice for the trauma and financial loss he has suffered.
