Kebbi State has appointed Aishatu Abbas as the new Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice. The Law Officers Association of Nigeria (Loan) Kebbi State branch has welcomed this appointment with enthusiasm, congratulating Abbas on her new role.

Abbas brings over two decades of experience to her new position, having worked in various capacities in the Kebbi State Ministry of Justice. Her notable positions include Clerical Assistant at Bagudo Local Government, State Counsel II, and Director of Public Prosecution.

Her educational background is impressive, with attendance at Zarumai Primary School Minna, Federal Government College Minna, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, and the Nigeria Law School Bwari, Abuja. Abbas has obtained various certifications, including a degree in Islamic and Common Law, Call to Bar Certificate, and Certificate of National Service.

As a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigeria Bar Association, International Federation of Women Lawyers, and the Muslim Lawyers Association, Abbas is well-equipped to excel in her new role. Her hobbies include reading, research, and traveling.

The Law Officers Association of Nigeria (Loan) Kebbi State branch has expressed confidence in Abbas's ability to excel, wishing her Allah's guidance and protection in her official duties. Her appointment follows the recent appointment of Kabiru Aliyu, SAN as Kebbi State Kadi of Shari'ar Court of Appeal.
