Kebbi State Appoints New Substantive Head of Civil Service

The Kebbi State Government has appointed TPL Malami Muhammad-Shekare as the substantive Head of Civil Service, effective October 28, 2024 . This development was announced by Alhaji Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi Governor, in a statement released to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Friday.

According to the statement, Alhaji Rashidu Muhammad-Bala, from the office of the Head of Civil Service, conveyed the message to Muhammad-Shekare in a letter dated November 1, 2024. The letter reads: "The Executive Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris, has approved the appointment of TPL Malami Muhammad Shekare, mni as the substantive Head of the Civil Service".

This appointment is a significant development in the Kebbi State Government, and it is expected to bring about positive changes in the civil service. As the new Head of Civil Service, Muhammad-Shekare will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the state's civil service and ensuring its effective operation.
