The Kebbi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed shock and sadness over the death of Alh Bala Bako Takalafiya, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Suru Local Government Area, who was attacked and killed by bandits.
In a heartfelt condolence message, PDP State Chairman Alh Usman Bello Suru described the incident as "shocking and unfortunate" and extended his sympathies to the State APC leadership, the deceased's family, and the people of Suru Local Government Area.
"Alh Bala Bako was a resourceful and grassroots political leader whose contributions to Suru Local Government and Kebbi State will always be remembered," Chairman Suru said.
On behalf of the PDP leadership and members across the state, he prayed for the repose of the deceased's soul and for the family to find the fortitude to bear the loss.
