Governor Nasir Idris and Senator Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, visited Takalafiya in Suru Local Government Area to offer condolences to the family and community of late Alhaji Bako Bala, APC Chairman of Suru LGA.
Alhaji Bala passed away at the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi, due to injuries from a kidnapping incident.
Senator Bagudu praised Alhaji Bala's dedication to the APC, highlighting his significant contributions to the party's success in Suru LGA and Kebbi State. The District Head of Bakuwai, Alhaji Tukur Yalli, thanked Governor Idris, Senator Bagudu, and their entourage for their compassion and support.
The late Alhaji Bako Bala, 64y, left behind three wives and 14 children. In a gesture of support, Governor Idris donated ₦10 million to assist the family. The dignitaries who accompanied Governor Nasir Idris were : Hon. Bello Kaoje, House of Representatives member for Suru/Bagudo Federal Constituency, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, Secretary to the State Government and Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari former Governor.
Others were: Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, National APC Organizing Secretary; Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, State APC Chairman. This visit demonstrates the government's commitment to supporting the community during difficult times.
