Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, Explores Healthcare Partnerships in New York

Following his participation in the 79th United Nations General Assembly, Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State visited Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. This premier academic health system is renowned for its innovative research, patient care, and public health advancements.


Governor Bago met with Dr. Philip Ozuah, a Nigerian physician and President/CEO of Montefiore Medicine. The visit aims to establish collaborations for technical assistance and training of medical professionals in various sub-specialties, enhancing healthcare delivery in Niger State.
