The youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the newly elected leaders of the party at both state and national levels, pledging their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 general elections.
"The party stakeholders made the right decision by electing capable individuals to lead the APC from wards up to national," said Mr. Kabiru Garba Kobi, Chairman of the APC Youth Parliament. "We are optimistic that the new leadership would uphold the party's ideals and take necessary steps to ensure its success in the 2027 elections."
Kobi commended the peaceful conduct of the national convention, describing it as a positive signal for the party's future electoral prospects. "A return of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima would bring renewed momentum to governance and create more opportunities to address the country's pressing challenges," he added.
The APC youth leader praised Tinubu and Shettima for their clear vision for national development, and their commitment to empowering youths and women. He cautioned the newly elected party leaders against complacency, urging them to remain focused on strengthening the party and delivering good governance.
The group also congratulated President Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing his life as one marked by determination, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to Nigeria's progress and economic growth. Shettima was praised for his dedication to the development of the North-East and the country at large.
"Vice President Shettima is a pivotal figure in supporting the administration, and we are confident that he would play a key role in mobilizing support for the President in the northern region," Kobi said.
