Birnin Kebbi, Nigeria, April 06,2026(Series News Online) - Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has reaffirmed the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party of choice for the people of Kebbi State, saying it has come to stay as the ruling party in the state.
Governor Nasir made this known while addressing journalists shortly after the APC stakeholders' meeting, chaired by him and assisted by the party chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru, at Presidential Lodge, Birnin Kebbi, on Monday.
"This is a stakeholders' meeting where we discussed matters directly affecting the party. By God's grace, the APC is here to stay in Kebbi State," Governor Idris said.
He expressed strong confidence in the loyalty and support of the people of Kebbi State, noting that they believe in the APC, love the APC, and will continue to deliver resounding victories for the party at both the state and national level.

The stakeholders' meeting was attended by notable party leaders, including Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning; Ambassador Saidu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero; Senator Yahaya Abdullahi; members of the House of Representatives from the state; and members of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, among others.
