Senator Shehu Buba Umar has commenced the distribution of 18,200 bags of rice to residents of Bauchi State, aiming to alleviate the economic hardship faced by families during the holy month of Ramadan.

The distribution exercise, which covers all local government areas within Bauchi South Senatorial District, is part of the senator's effort to support his constituents and other parts of the state.
According to the senator, the gesture is a demonstration of his commitment to the welfare of the people. "Time and again, we strive to provide support that will help our people alleviate the hardships of life, particularly during this sacred month when food is essential," he said.

The distribution breakdown includes 2,000 bags for Bauchi local government, 1,500 bags for Toro, 1,200 bags for Alkaleri, and 1,000 bags for Tafawa Balewa, among others. The senator also allocated 3,500 bags to Bauchi North and 3,000 bags to Bauchi Central.
