Kebbi Medics Head to Ethiopia, Touch Down Safely

Thirty-five Kebbi State-sponsored medical students have arrived safely in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to commence their academic programme at the Premium Medical College.

The students, who were bid farewell by Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, arrived in high spirits and excellent condition, ready to start their medical studies.
"They have arrived safely and are in good health," a statement from the Kebbi State Government said. "They were warmly received and provided with refreshments, reflecting the well-coordinated arrangements made for their comfort and wellbeing."

The students have been accommodated in suitable facilities to ensure a conducive environment as they prepare to commence their academic programmes.

Officials of the Kebbi State Ministry are on ground to provide necessary support, facilitate a smooth orientation, and ensure that the students settle in properly and begin their studies without delay.
"We reiterate our unwavering commitment to investing in human capital development through the provision of quality education and international exposure for our youths," the statement added.

The Kebbi State Government's initiative aims to enhance the state's human capital and contribute to the development of the healthcare sector.
