The Federal College of Education (FCE) Okene is grappling with a shocking tragedy after one of its students, Suleiman Rahma Onono, was found dead with some body parts missing.
The 20-year-old student was reported missing last Saturday, sparking widespread concern among students, staff, and family members. Her disappearance prompted an outpouring of efforts to locate her, but her whereabouts remained unknown until the grim discovery.
"Suleiman Rahma Onono was a dedicated student, and this incident has left us all deeply shaken," a college official said.
Tributes and condolences have been pouring in from within and outside the institution, as security agencies launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and death.
"The management is committed to improving safety and security on campus," a spokesperson for FCE Okene assured.
The incident has raised serious concerns about security in the area, with calls for increased measures to protect students as investigations continue.
"We urge the authorities to leave no stone unturned in bringing the perpetrators to justice," a student said.
The college community remains in mourning, as the search for answers and justice continues.
