The Civil Society Campaign Council (CSCC) has launched its Kaduna state chapter, with a commitment to mobilize voters for the 2027 general elections. Comrade Emmanuel Jonny, Director General of CSCC, stated that the organization will educate and register voters to ensure their participation in the elections.
"We are here to unite citizens around shared progress. We remain a civil society organization and will continue to demand transparency and people-centered governance," Jonny said. He emphasized that CSCC is a coalition of voices, development actors, community advocates, professionals, women-led organizations, faith-based institutions, and youth groups united by the belief that leadership must deliver.
The CSCC supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani's administration, citing their commitment to reform, economic opportunity, and people-centered governance. "Our support is rooted in assessment, not emotion," Jonny added.
Mailafiya Stephen Jock, Kaduna state coordinator, described the launch as a defining moment in the collective commitment to progress, stability, and responsible civic engagement. He highlighted the Renewed Hope Agenda's bold structural reforms, including economic and fiscal reforms, infrastructure development, and security architecture.
The CSCC aims to promote civic engagement, transparency, and accountability in governance. "We will continue to demand transparency and people-centered governance," Jock said, appreciating the national leadership, stakeholders, and members for their support.
