The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken decisive steps to consolidate its unity and strengthen its electoral machinery ahead of the 2027 general elections. The party’s Jajiya Political Movement convened strategic stakeholders’ meetings across all 14 Local Government Areas of the state, with the aim of fostering cohesion and positioning the APC for victory.

The simultaneous meetings were part of a broader initiative led by the movement’s leader, Hon. Dr. Aminu Sani Jaji, PhD, to renew commitment among members and chart a path for electoral success. Receiving the committee’s report, Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammed Gurbin-Bore expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the local government committees.

“The strategic stakeholders’ meeting was designed to strengthen the capacity of the movement across Zamfara and renew support for our leader, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, as well as for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” Gurbin-Bore said.

He added that the movement, under its political leader, has resolved to fully participate in all activities outlined by the APC National Headquarters ahead of the 2027 elections. “We have concluded all necessary arrangements to take part in the forthcoming party congresses and the ongoing e-registration exercise to ensure that all eligible members are captured,” he stated.
Reaffirming the group’s loyalty, Gurbin-Bore emphasized that the Jajiya Political Movement remains steadfast in its backing of President Tinubu’s second-term ambition. “At our last meeting in Kaduna, we unanimously endorsed Rt. Hon. Dr. Aminu Sani Jaji, PhD, for Governor of Zamfara State and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election in 2027,” he noted.

The meeting was attended by local government committee chairmen, key APC stakeholders, and party supporters, many of whom expressed enthusiasm for Jaji’s governorship ambition. The movement also commended the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, for his swift intervention in resolving issues surrounding access to the party’s e-membership registration in Zamfara.

“The APC Jajiya Political Movement is committed to ensuring that every eligible member is registered and that the party is well-positioned for victory in 2027,” Gurbin-Bore said. “Our efforts reflect our determination to see the APC succeed in Zamfara and across Nigeria.”

Political observers say the movement’s activities are likely to boost the APC’s chances in Zamfara, particularly as it seeks to present a united front and field capable leadership at both state and national levels.
