Unity Key to Progress, Bauchi First Lady Tells Christians

Bauchi State's First Lady, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, has emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence among Christians and people of other faiths. She made the call at her residence, hosting Christian women leaders and officials during Christmas festivities.

"Harmony is crucial for progress; no development thrives in chaos and division," Dr. Mohammed said, urging Christians to uphold Jesus Christ's teachings of love, tolerance, and compassion. "These values sustain societal harmony," she added.

The First Lady welcomed the delegation, assuring continued government support. "We're committed to backing initiatives fostering unity and development," she stated.

Mrs. Hasana Arkila and Mrs. Comfort Audu praised Dr. Mohammed's empowerment initiatives, saying, "Her warmth and generosity have improved lives." They lauded Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed's policies, expressing hope for sustained programs.

"Governor Mohammed's policies enhance socio-political growth," Audu said, commending the administration's efforts. Arkila added, "The First Lady's commitment to women and youth empowerment is commendable."
