The National Orientation Agency (NOA) Kebbi State Directorate has issued a call to action to citizens to rekindle their love for the nation and demonstrate it through respect for national symbols and institutions. This appeal. This year's celebration is a reminder of the foundational principles and laws that govern the society.
The State Director of NOA, Muhammed Nasir Karofi, emphasized the critical role of national symbols in fostering a sense of belonging and pride. "Our national symbols—the flag, the coat of arms, the national anthem, and the pledge—are not just emblems," he stated. "They are powerful representations of our history, our struggles, and our aspirations as a people. They embody the sacrifices of our heroes past and the hope for a brighter future."
Karofi highlighted that a true display of patriotism goes beyond words and is demonstrated through concrete actions. Citizens are encouraged to respect the national flag, observe the national anthem and pledge, adhere to national laws and ordinances, and promote unity and harmony.
The NOA Kebbi State Director appealed to all Nigerians to reject divisive tendencies and work together in harmony, recognizing that the strength of the nation lies in its diversity. "Let us use this National Ordinance Day as a moment of introspection and a catalyst for renewed patriotism," he said. "By respecting our national symbols and upholding our laws, we are building a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Nigeria for ourselves and for generations to come."
