The people of Ningi Emirate in Bauchi State have expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for the various developmental projects executed in the area over the past six years. The projects include road construction, renovation of buildings, and healthcare facilities, among others.
The Chairman of Ningi Local Government Council, Alh. Nasiru Zakarai, commended the governor for the projects, saying, "Even if Senator Bala Mohammed was an indigene of Ningi, it is the limit that he can do to the emirate, his traditional title of Turakin Ningi aside." Zakarai listed some of the projects executed in Ningi, including the Arinja-Balma road, Nasaru-GSS Ningi-Gudduba road, and the renovation of Ningi LGA Secretariat.
The site engineer for the 11-kilometer dualization of Ningi township, Mr. Wassim Dayaa, assured that the project would be completed by December 2025. "Let me assure the team that this road dualisation project in Ningi would, by the grace of God, be completed this coming December 2025," Dayaa said. The project has reached 70 percent completion.
The supervising engineer from the State Ministry of Works, Engr. Sulaiman Iliyasu, confirmed that the 4.2 kilometers Nasaru township road was completed within the stipulated timeframe. "The central road project will also be delivered within the approved period of 12 dry months," Iliyasu added.
The Commissioner of Information, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman, explained that the project tour was designed to evaluate the progress, quality, and overall impact of Governor Bala Mohammed's initiatives across the state. "All ongoing projects in Ningi and beyond would be completed as planned," Usman assured.
The people of Ningi Emirate have welcomed the governor's initiatives, which have improved their living standards and provided them with access to better infrastructure and healthcare facilities.
