Tinubu's Group Vows to Back Gov Idris, Seeks Alliance for 2027

A prominent group backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed its commitment to Governor Nasir Idris, pledging to strengthen their alliance in the lead-up to the 2027 elections. The Forward with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Organisation made this declaration during a courtesy visit to Governor Idris at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.

Led by National Coordinator and Director-General, Comrade Peter Ilefa, the delegation expressed admiration for the Governor's dedication to good governance and his support for the President's administration. Governor Idris thanked the group for their visit, highlighting the organisation's inclusive nature and its representation of all regions in Nigeria.

The Governor also commended the Federal Government's efforts in implementing development projects in Kebbi State, citing his administration's focus on people-oriented policies. "My administration's commitment to the welfare of Kebbi people is unwavering, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the state's progress," he said.

Comrade Ilefa praised Governor Idris for his loyalty and support for President Tinubu, noting the Governor's efforts to strengthen ties between the state and federal governments. The group's Deputy National Coordinator, North, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant, echoed these sentiments, describing Governor Idris as one of Nigeria's most effective governors.

The group's visit aimed to solidify their alliance and explore ways to work together towards achieving their shared goals. "We are committed to building a strong partnership with Governor Idris and supporting his efforts to develop Kebbi State," Ilefa said.
