"Kebbi First Lady Urges Women to Embrace Business, Donates N3 Million to VSLA"

 The First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has called on women to take advantage of business opportunities and become self-reliant. She made this call during a meeting with leaders of the Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA), also known as "YanAkwati", in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

 Hajiya Zainab emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and self-employment, stating, "She emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and self-employment, urging the women to shun get-rich-quick schemes and focus on building sustainable businesses." She also advised them to avoid unsolicited gatherings and to be mindful of their associations.

 The First Lady's remarks were made during a meeting with 118 VSLA leaders from Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area, held at the Government House yesterday. The meeting aimed to empower women and promote economic development in the state.
In a gesture of support, the First Lady donated N3 million to the VSLA to boost their economic activities and enhance their capacity to support members.

The APC Women Leader in Kebbi State, Hajiya A’isha Abubakar Gunabi, commended the VSLA for their efforts and urged them to remain committed to supporting the APC at the state and national levels. She stated, "She emphasized the importance of sincerity and loyalty to the party, cautioning against being swayed by opposition parties."
