Ambassador Hassan Adamu Gumbin Kure, a prominent son of Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, has urged eligible citizens to register for Permanent Voters' Cards (PVCs). Speaking in an interview with Series News Online, Gumbin Kure emphasized the importance of acquiring PVCs, saying, "No one can vote for his choice of candidate without acquiring a PVC."
Gumbin Kure, who resides in Owerri, Imo State, but remains committed to his people in Gumbin Kure, Maiyama Local Government, highlighted the various developmental projects he has brought to the area. He urged other well-to-do individuals to follow his example and give back to their communities.

The ambassador also announced that he has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and intends to contest for the State Assembly seat under the ADC platform in the 2027 election. He stated, "I and my supporters have dumped the APC party and joined the ADC party. We will enumerate all the developmental projects we provided for our people when the campaign season begins."

Gumbin Kure cautioned the youth against being deceived by politicians who only appear during election periods or times of crisis. He advised them to reject politicians who cannot cater to their needs and instead support those who can provide developmental projects.

"Reject any politician that can't cater for your need or problem," he said. "It's only during politics period after politics is over they disappeared until next session. Don't give such persons your vote to represent you for any reason. Support the ADC party so as you will chance the old faces and vote for change that will provide developmental achievement in your respective villages."
