The First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has extended her deepest condolences to the Zuru Emirate over the passing of its revered Emir, Major General Sani Sami (Gomo II)(Rtd).
In a statement, the First Lady expressed profound sadness upon receiving the news of the Emir's demise. "It is with profound sadness that I received the news of the passing of Major General Sani Sami (Gomo II) (Rtd), the Emir of Zuru," she said.
Hajiya Zainab described the late Emir as a revered traditional leader and statesman whose leadership, vision, and dedication to the development and peace of his kingdom greatly impacted his people. As Jagaban Matan Zuru, the First Lady expressed her particular sadness over the loss. "As Jagaban Matan Zuru, I am particularly saddened by this loss and pray that Allah grants us the strength to bear this loss," she said.
Hajiya Zainab prayed that Allah grants the family, friends, and subjects of the Zuru Emirate the fortitude to navigate this difficult time. "May Allah grant the family, friends, and subjects of the Zuru Emirate the fortitude to navigate this difficult time. Ameen," she concluded.
