"Military Widows Association Congratulates Governor Idris on 2 Years in Office, Lauds His Support"

The State Coordinator of the Military Widows Association, Kebbi State Chapter, Hajiya Asma'u Kanoma, has expressed joy and appreciation for the empowerment and support received from the present administration of Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu. Speaking to journalists on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi, Kanoma congratulated the governor on completing two years in office and achieving remarkable milestones for the people of Kebbi State.

"We will always remember the Kauran Gwandu administration for its kindness and generosity towards us," Kanoma said. "In 2024, when the Nigerian Legion was marking "Armed Forces Remembrance Day", the governor showed his generosity by donating twenty million naira (N20m) to the wives of fallen heroes through our association's leadership."
Kanoma highlighted other notable donations, including 100 bags of grains and two cows during the Sallah period, thirty million naira (N30m) during the "2025 Armed Forces  Remembrance Day" celebration, and 300 bags of rice during Christmas. The association also received palliatives during the Ramadan fasting period, consisting of 250 bags of rice and 250 bags of grains.

"All these gestures are in our record book for the Kauran Gwandu administration," Kanoma emphasized. "We believe that he is a leader who has his people at heart and remembers that families of fallen heroes exist. He has been assisting us greatly, and we appreciate him and his government."

The Military Widoms Association joined the good people of Kebbi State in celebrating the governor's two years in office and the rapid developmental projects executed across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.

"We are appealing to the good people of the state to continue supporting the Kauran Gwandu administration so as to derive more benefits and dividends of democracy," Kanoma said. The association congratulated Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu on his two years in office and the achievements recorded so far.

"We will continue to support Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu's Godwilling," Kanoma assured.
