"Kebbi State to Benefit from WAMY's Mosque Construction Initiative"

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) foundation has announced plans to build three befitting Jumu'ah mosques across Kebbi State. The Director of WAMY, Sheikh Hisham Abdulsalam, disclosed this during an inspection visit to the Bango Fulani settlement, where one of the mosques will be constructed.

According to Sheikh Hisham, the construction of the mosques is part of the foundation's humanitarian services to the Muslim Ummah in the country. "We are going to build three befitting Jumu'ah mosques across the state and will equip them with all the necessary equipment to be installed, and then hand over to the state government so that the beneficiaries will take ownership," he said. Additionally, the foundation will also construct five boreholes in different locations of the state, which will have a direct impact on the people of Kebbi State.

The Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Arch. Sani Aliyu, explained that the reason for site one of the mosques in Bango Fulani settlement is to cover two other nearby villages, including Gazon Fulani and Unguwar Zabarmawa. He called on the benefiting villages to cooperate with the foundation and ensure total maintenance and proper care of the facility after completion and handover.

The District Head of Gwadangaji, Alhaji Umar Ahmed, represented by Engr. Muhammad Ladan Shatiman Gwadangaji, thanked the WAMY foundation and the state government for bringing this project to the three villages under Gwadangaji District. He prayed for Almighty Allah to reward them abundantly for their devotion to serving humanity and working for Islam.

Sheikh Hisham Abdulsalam emphasized that the project is free and part of the foundation's services to the Muslim Ummah. "This project is for Fisabilillah, and it is not only Kebbi State that has benefited from our foundation's services," he said. The construction of the mosques is expected to be completed within two months, and the WAMY foundation will equip them with all necessary modern facilities. The beneficiaries have been urged to provide maximum protection and good treatment to the WAMY workers during the construction period and to maintain the facilities properly after completion.
