The Technical Working Group (TWG) on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Kebbi State has extended warm congratulations to Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and his wife, Hajiya Zainab Nasare (Gimbiyar Matan Gwandu), First Lady of Kebbi State, on their two-year anniversary in office.
In a congratulatory message signed by Comrade Nasiru Idris, State Secretary TWG on GBV, the group praised the governor's visionary efforts in strengthening critical sectors such as education, health, access to justice, and women and youth empowerment. "The visionary efforts of His Excellency Dr. Comrade Nasiru Idris Kauran Gwandu in strengthening critical sectors have profoundly transformed lives across the state, and commitment to inclusive development and humanitarian services stands as a testament to your character and leadership," the message reads.
The TWG on GBV commended the First Lady's firm commitment, tenacity, and selfless dedication to advancing human dignity and well-being across Kebbi State. "Under your compassionate leadership, the fight against Gender-Based Violence has witnessed unprecedented progress," the group noted. Her Excellency Hajiya Zainab Nasare's strategic interventions, advocacy initiatives, and pursuit of justice for survivors have restored hope to many, especially women and children.
The group also appreciated the governor's drive to attract foreign investment, foster intervention partnerships, and amplify Kebbi State's development agenda through sustainable initiatives. "You have inspired a new generation of women leaders, empowered families, and raised the standard of governance through service rooted in empathy and excellence," the message stated.
