Kebbi State Governor Reinforces Security with Vehicle Donation

Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has donated four Hilux vehicles to security agencies in the state to boost their morale and enhance security across the state. The governor, represented by the Permanent Secretary Government House, Alhaji Dahiru Zaki, presented the vehicles to the respective representatives of the agencies at Government House on Wednesday.

Governor Idris reassured the commitment of his administration to supporting the security agencies deployed to the state. "My administration is ever ready to support you with the necessary logistics to enable you perform your duties diligently. Our collaboration with the security agencies is for the common good of our people, therefore, we will not relent, we will make sure that we support you and encourage you to succeed, because, your success is ours," he said.
The Nigeria Army received three Hilux vehicles, while one Hilux went to the Mobile Police. Major A. P. Azubuine, Commanding Officer, 1 Battalion, Dukku Barracks, Birnin Kebbi, appreciated the governor for the kind gesture and promised to put the vehicles to good use. "We are grateful for the governor's support, and we assure him that the vehicles will be used to enhance our operations and improve security in the state."
ACP Aliyu Jega, Squadron Commander Mopol 36, Birnin Kebbi, also assured the governor that the vehicle would aid his men in their efforts to curb the rate of crime in the state. This donation is part of Governor Idris' efforts to strengthen security in the state, following previous donations of vehicles and equipment to security agencies.
